Single release by Simple Minds as noted on the back cover: "From the original motion picture soundtrack The Breakfast Club". The song is actually a song composed and written by producer Keith Forsey, who already had the band in mind as he wrote the song and only after several attempts, he finally managed to persuade the band members to record and arrange the song, which afterwards turned out to be a perfect song for the band. Peaking at #5, the single became the band's so far best faring single on the UK singles chart list, and it topped the US Billboard Hot 100 list.
