3rd studio album by My Bloody Valentine. This is a modernized noise pop and dream pop release that finally came out 22 years after its predecessor Loveless (1991), but Kevin Shields did not work in ordinary ways. A large part of the tracks were initially recorded before the band split up in 1997. Some recordings were presumably made in 2006 before the band regrouped in 2007, but basically, most of the compositions are the solo work of Shields, although, it falls rather fine in the chronology. As was the case with the two previous albums, this is also enlisted in "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die", and really it 's a certified grower.
