The American music magazine Rolling Stone has updated its list comprising the best ever music videos as "The 100 Greatest Music Videos of All Time". It's mostly striking how it concentrates on artists with the biggest muscles in terms of finances. Beyoncé tops the list with the video for "Formation" (2016). Nicely produced and a grand video. But really. The best?! Beyoncé is represented three times on that list, and Madonna is there with four videos!! Without counting, I think there's quite a heavy overweight of American artists on the list, but what's more of concern is that if you subtract British and American artists you end up with Psy, a-ha, Björk and U2 (the latter coming from the British Isles and Ireland). But where's the rest of the world??? South America, Asia, the continents of Australia and Africa!!!! BIASED that's what this list is.

Here are some videos (with great videos and better music) missing on the list in alphabetical order:

Antony & the Johnsons "Hope There's Someone"
Blanck Mass "Please"
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Jubilee Street"
Childish Gambino "This Is America"
Hurray for the Riff Raff "Pierced Arrows" + "Pa'lante"
I Break Horses "Death Engine"
Salif Keita & Cesaria Evora "Yamore"
The Knife "Full of Fire"
Rina Sawayama "Bad Friend"
Teitur "Home"
Trentemøller "In the Garden"
Ukendt Kunstner "Gennem byen" + "København"
Underworld "Two Months Off"
Thom Yorke "Anima"
Zucchero "Occhi"
